Catalog description
This laboratory course complements Anatomy and Physiology II (BIO 1021) by providing students with hands-on experience in the examination of anatomical structures and physiological functions of major human body systems. Through dissection, anatomical modeling, simulation, and physiological experiments, students explore the endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems. The course emphasizes the integration of theory with clinical application, enhances observation and documentation skills, and prepares students to apply scientific reasoning and teamwork in healthcare settings. Laboratory safety, professionalism, and ethical conduct are also emphasized throughout the course. Sixty (60) laboratory hours. Pre-requisite(s): BIO 1011 , BIO 1012 Corequisite(s): BIO 1021
