This foundational course introduces the structure and function of the human body, emphasizing the interrelationships between form and function across organ systems. It covers levels of biological organization from cells to organ systems, focusing on homeostasis and mechanisms that maintain health. Topics include anatomical terminology, cell biology, tissues, the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, and nervous systems. The course supports nursing and allied health students by integrating clinically relevant content, preparing them to apply anatomical and physiological concepts to patient care, diagnostic reasoning, and clinical decision-making. Thirty (30) lecture hours. Corequisite(s): BIO 1012
