Catalog description
The course introduces students to terminology, concepts, and skills necessary to administer Windows Server workloads using on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies. the installation, configuration, deployment, and administration of Windows Servers, Azure Virtual Machines, and Hyper-V. Students will gain hands-on experience with Active Directory, Active Directory objects, group policy, file and storage services, and DNS. Students will learn how to use tools to manage Windows Server, such as PowerShell, Performance Monitor, Windows Admin Center, and remote management. This course prepares students for the Microsoft AZ-800 certification exam. Prerequisites: CISM 300 Networking Fundamentals.
