Catalog description
This is the second course in a two-course sequence preparing students for the CompTIA Security+ certification exam. Building on the foundations established in CISM 320, the course focuses on evaluating and applying security capabilities in networks, endpoints, and applications. Students will study incident response, monitoring, and the analysis of malicious activity, while also exploring security governance, risk management, data protection, and compliance. Emphasis is placed on practical application and organizational security strategies that prepare students for professional cybersecurity roles.
