Prepares non-native English speakers for certificate and degree programs by developing the academic and English language skills needed to succeed in higher education. Includes the development of critical thinking, the use of academic conventions to create and edit essays, summary and paraphrasing skills, and the application of high-intermediate grammatical forms and structures to written tasks.
