Includes establishing an educational learning environment, value of a child-centered learning environment, the indoor and outdoor environment, developmentally appropriate learning centers, and play materials. Also includes the teacher's role and responsibility within the learning environment, and utilizing the community as an integral part of the child's total learning environment.
