Catalog description

A critical social science and systems approach to understanding and analyzing food systems in the 21st century amidst concerns of climate change, urbanization, sustainability, and equity. Explores the historical and contemporary political and economic arrangements shaping food systems from farm to fork to landfill. Also encourages the evaluation of how larger social processes shape lived experiences of food and drink consumption and its impact on individual and environmental health.
