Catalog description

Applies and builds upon the knowledge and skills learned in the previous and concurrent courses to provide for the acquisition of basic nursing theory, communication, collaboration, and critical-thinking necessary for safe, person-centered nursing care to children and their families. This course incorporates the legal and ethical responsibilities of the practical nurse (PN) in the care of children.
