Catalog description
1 hr(s). This course will introduce students to small animal nursing, basic diagnostic techniques involved in examination, and client communication. Hands-on instruction on basic restraint skills will be covered along with common veterinary procedures, medication techniques, bandaging concepts, medical records, venipuncture, and injection methods. Successful completion of this course with a “C” or better is required for graduation. “C” or better required Corequisite(s): Must be taken concurrently with VETT 1115 Restriction(s): Veterinary Assistant majors or Veterinary Technology majors only
