1 hr(s). The course is the laboratory component of RESP 2220 - Mechanical Ventilation II. Emphasis will be placed on assessment of the patient ventilator system for both invasive and non-invasive applications. The student will simulate the practice of advanced therapeutic procedures in the laboratory environment via the setup and operation of mechanical ventilators and diagnostic/therapeutic equipment.
