Image Analysis/Pathology I

Catalog description

3 hr(s). This course is designed to prepare students to analyze medical images and take corrective action involving exposure factor selection, positioning adjustments and other image features to optimize image quality and diagnostic outcomes. The focus of this course will be medical images related to the bony thorax and respiratory system, abdomino-pelvic cavity, upper limbs and lower limbs. The successful completion of this course with a “C” or better is required for graduation. Restriction(s): Radiologic Technology majors
