Catalog description

1 hr(s). This course enables the student radiographer to master medical terminology as it applies to the specialty of Radiology. Specifically this unit introduces medical abbreviations, symbols, and terms which the student will employ throughout his/her career in order to enhance the ability to select the appropriate technical factors and perform radiographic positions required to meet imaging criteria. 24 clock hours. The successful completion of this course with a “C” or better is required for graduation. Restriction(s): Radiologic Technology majors
