1 hr(s). This course is designed to provide Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) students with the essential skills needed for accurate dosage calculations and a foundational understanding of pharmacology. Emphasizing safe and effective medication administration, students will gain the ability to perform essential calculations for oral, injectable, insulin, powdered medications, and reconstituted drugs. Additionally, the course will focus on understanding major drug classes, their therapeutic uses, and the legal and ethical aspects of medication administration. Restriction(s): Licensed Practical Nursing Major
