This course covers the basic operating principles of thermal power generation systems and their components, such as water treatment, cooling water systems, boiler feedwater operation, steam cycle components, turbines, and their environmental control systems. This course will focus on both traditional steam cycles and combined gas and steam cycle systems. Prerequisite(s): ENRG 1011 Concurrently Restriction(s): Applied Process Technology, Petroleum Technology, and Advanced Welding
