5 hr(s). This course emphasizes the hands-on maintenance and overhaul of piston engines. Topics include engine removal, replacement, troubleshooting, inspection, engine maintenance and overhaul, system component repair, inspection, and troubleshooting. Meets FAR 147 requirements. Successful completion with a grade of “C” or better is required. Prerequisite(s): AVMT 1101 , AVMT 2201 and ENGL 1104
