3 hr(s). Students in this course will learn about various state and federal laws that pertain to computing and paying wages and salaries. They will become proficient in calculating gross pay, calculating Social Security and Medicare taxes, calculating federal and state income and other taxes, journalizing and posting payroll entries and completing various federal and state forms. Prerequisite(s): ACCT 2201
