Catalog description

This course covers sophisticated machine tool operations, basic oxygen-acetylene welding, and basic metal polishing. Emphasis is placed on completing projects from blueprints using advanced machine operations, oxygen-acetylene welding, and metal refinishing. Upon completion, students should be able to perform complex machine tool operations, read blueprints, use an oxygen-acetylene torch, and do basic metal polishing and finishing. This course is restricted to diploma and/or certificate programs.
