Explores the concepts of and strategies for disease prevention and health promotion that are needed to improve the health of individuals, families, communities and selected populations. Addresses global factors impacting health care. The nurse's role in the promotion of population health is emphasized. Prerequisite: NURS 3312, NURS 3313, NURS 3322, NURS 3323.
