Catalog description

Focus is on the effects of health problems of adults. Problems and concepts specific to caring of clients during the surgical experience, with pain and stress, disorders of the musculoskeletal and integumentary systems, fluid and electrolytes and acid-base imbalances. Strategies that promote and maintain a healthy lifestyle are examined. The nurse's role in planning, implementing, and evaluating strategies toward optimal health is emphasized Prerequisite: NURS 3312, NURS 3313.
