Catalog description

This course provides students the opportunity to study the principles and methods of teaching music in early childhood and middle grades classrooms through the development of musical skills and the learning of proven methods of teaching to teach and direct a class in musical activities. Directed field-based experience is required. Teaching of laboratory classes required. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing in Music Education.
