This course provides an overview of current and emerging communications law and public policy as it relates to the purpose and operation of public and private institutions, freedom of speech and the media, privacy, equal access, copyright, public opinion, monopoly, antitrust laws and media ethics. Prerequisite: MCOM 1500.
