Catalog description

A study of the skills and knowledge necessary for successful pursuit of a degree in English: close reading, critical writing, literary vocabulary, acquaintance with current theoretical issues, and familiarity with bibliographic and electronic resources. Required of all English majors. Prerequisite: ENGL 1102 with a grade of "C" or better.
