Catalog description
The School Counseling Internship provides graduate students in school counseling the opportunity to integrate and apply knowledge, theory, and skills in a real-world K-12 educational setting under the supervision of a licensed school counselor. Over the course of 300 hours, students will engage in both direct and indirect counseling services, including individual and group counseling, academic advising, classroom guidance lessons, consultation with teachers and parents, and collaboration with school staff.
