Catalog description
This course is designed to introduce candidates to founational concepts of educational psychology. This course provides an overview of theories and principles related to the cognitive, motivational, and socio-cultural factors that influence student learning in classroom contexts. Topics such as development, cognition, individual and group differences, motivation, and affect are examined. Classroom applications and implications are introduced.
