Catalog description
This course is designed to provide future classroom teachers with knowledge of reading- related problems and their causes and to develop their abilities to use instructional strategies appropriately. Emphasis is placed on informal diagnosis and interpretation of reading abilities based on individual case studies and implications for classroom settings. There will be 10 hours of directed field experiences embedded into this course. A pre-service certificate is required for this course.
