Catalog description

The traditional functions of a human resource department are examined. The course includes a survey of laws governing personnel function, the appropriate use of software in HR management, and maintaining equitable workplaces are among topics probed. Students are expected to develop an understanding of the role that human resource processes play in the strategy of organizations. Prerequisite: BUSA 3010.
