Catalog description
This course examines the characteristics of students with general learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, and language and development disorders. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based instructional practices, assessments, and intervention strategies to support special education students with difficulties in literacy. Candidates will examine technology supports, strategies for analyzing assessment data, and the implementation of targeted interventions for students who struggle with language and literacy learning.
