Catalog description

This course examines the characteristics and instruction of learners with physical and health disabilities including individuals with sensory, orthopedic, and other health impairment (OHI). Attention is given to federal and state regulations as they pertain to assessment, eligibility, and the provision of special education services within the schools. Service delivery options, curriculum and program models, and appropriate supports and accommodations will also be examined. B-124
