Catalog description

In this course, participants are introduced to simple Spanish grammar and knowledge of the Hispanic culture. Educators who are beginning Spanish-language learners are instructed on how to communicate with English language learners and their parents. Emphasis is on basic communication skills associated with real-life situations, the classroom environment, student praise and encouragement, school personnel, and school terminology.
