This course emphasizes the practical application of educational theories and methods. Candidates focus on the following topics: school culture, pedagogical assignments and tasks, self-reflection, and preparation to serve as a beginning teacher in an induction program. The course provides practical guidance for candidates seeking a teaching position, and serves as a forum for open discussion and problem solving based on their classroom experiences and abilities to use and apply the full-range of Teaching Performance Expectations. Teacher candidates finalize and submit their completed teacher performance assessment.
