Catalog description

This course investigates the impact of health variances and the promotion of wellness through advocacy for all individuals. Advanced analysis and evaluation of theories, concepts, and methods related to wellness and health variance will be examined. The use of technology and informatics will provide data to analyze the relationship between health outcomes and economics, social status, gender identity, sexual orientation, ancestry, and cultural background at the graduate level of nursing. Emphasis is on assessment of the social determinants of health and nurse-patient interactions related to health outcomes.
