Catalog description

This course provides an in-depth exploration of descriptive and inferential statistics with a strong emphasis on practical application and data analysis. Students will use Python to apply descriptive statistics, data visualization techniques, and inferential methods to real-world data. Key topics include data and sampling, data visualization, descriptive statistics, probability distributions, inferential statistics, chi-square tests, linear and multiple linear regression, logistic regression, non-parametric analysis, and ethical considerations in data analysis. The course also covers data mining concepts, data cleansing and preparation, and the use of various tools and techniques to enhance data analysis skills. B-93
