This course prepares students to evaluate the legal risks associated with business activity. Students will create proposals to manage an organization's legal exposure. Other topics include the legal system, alternative dispute resolution, enterprise liability, product liability, international law, business risks, intellectual property, legal forms of business, and governance. LAW PA513 Law and Public Administration 3 This course prepares students to apply legal concepts in public administration. Students will analyze legislative and judicial processes in the administration of state and local governments. Other topics, at the state and local level, include enabling laws, regulatory review, open- meeting/sunshine provisions, adjudication, and the Administrative Procedures Act.
