Catalog description

This course presents the historical origins and development of higher education and its influence on the development of postsecondary education in the United States. Through ontological and epistemological lenses, students will examine the philosophical perspectives on cultural values, beliefs (both secular and non-secular), and goals of education from classical times through modern American higher education.
