Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the integration of technology within the health care industry. Students will examine systems, networking and database concepts, the processes used in the selection and application of electronic health records, and the evaluation of future information technology systems. Methods to make informed business decisions related to the use of technology in health care will be addressed.
