This course examines fraud examination and forensic accounting practices used to detect, investigate, and prevent financial fraud. Topics include types of fraud, data-driven fraud detection, auditing and inquiry methods, fraud reporting, internal controls and compliance, assurance services, securities law and regulatory structure, professional conduct, and ethical and legal issues in securities regulation.
