This course emphasizes the practical application of education theories and teaching methods. Emphasis will be placed on planning and facilitating effective literacy instruction and ensuring teacher candidates can create engaging and impactful learning experiences. Teacher candidates will focus on the requirements and expectations of student teaching, the teacher performance assessment, and planning and facilitating instruction. This includes understanding how to implement the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) framework to address students' language, literacy, and learning development. Additionally, teacher candidates will prepare and submit all respective tasks of the edTPA. B-59
