Catalog description

This course examines the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in K-12 education, including practical strategies for integrating AI tools into instructional design and assessment. Participants will examine ethical considerations including bias, academic integrity, and student data privacy while learning how to use AI responsibly in educational environments. Through hands-on activities and applied assignments, educators will develop skills to evaluate AI tools, design AI- enhanced learning experiences, and support students in developing responsible AI literacy. By the end of the course, participants will demonstrate their proficiency in using AI for planning, instruction, and assessment in the K-12 educational environment.
