Catalog description

This course focuses on curriculum development and instructional strategies for K-12 educators. Participants examine the history of curriculum development, the role of curriculum in education, and the alignment of curriculum to state and national standards. School reform, curriculum implementation, assessment methods, textbook and material selection, and the adaptation of technology into curriculum are also explored. Particular emphasis will be placed on developing curriculum and instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
