This course introduces students to the teaching profession and its foundational principles. Students analyze various educational philosophies and develop a personal educational philosophy. Key issues and trends in education are explored. Standards, curriculum development, and assessment are also introduced, including their distinctions and contributions to teaching and learning. B-54
