Community and Family Engagement

Catalog description

This course focuses on establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships among families, early childhood learning environments, and communities to support student development and achievement. Candidates explore and discuss issues related to family backgrounds, relationship building, and community involvement. Emphasis will be placed on creating positive family and community engagement as well as strengthening the connection between home and school.
