This course introduces students to the diagnostic criteria for organic and physiologically based disorders. Students examine the intricacies of multiple disorders related to mood, anxiety, and trauma issues. The course addresses the prevalence of these disorders within society, with a special focus on the effects on the criminal justice system. Students learn basic identification and intervention techniques.
