This course provides foundational information about autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Participants identify general characteristics associated with autism spectrum disorders including learning preferences, behaviors, and patterns. Participants also learn assessment and diagnosis processes, interventions, accommodations, and supports, with emphasis on current evidence- based practices.
