This course focuses on the use of assessments in K-12 education and their role in developing school improvement plans from a principal's perspective. Candidates review the types of assessments that a school leader needs to be familiar with, the data they generate, and how to interpret the data for decision-making purposes. In addition, the instructional improvement model and the process of continuous school improvement are explored.
