Catalog description
Introduction to the International Classification of Diseases, Procedure Coding System (ICD-PCS). Topics include application of the current ICD-PCS guidelines and conventions for procedures in inpatient settings and coding technologies. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites: BIO202 and HIM200. Prerequisites or Corequisites: HIM208 or permission of Program Director.
