Emphasizes the role of Health Information Management professionals in calculating, mining, and reporting healthcare statistics for data analytics, research, quality assurance, financial, and other purposes. Topics include health statistics, morbidity, mortality, quality resource management, and research design. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in (CIS114DE, HIM160 and MAT112) or permission of Program Director.
