Provides in-depth analysis of the medical claims process in ambulatory care settings. Topics include electronic data interchange, claims management, confidentiality, data retention, and the claims review and appeals process. A grade of C or better required in all Prerequisites. Prerequisites: [(BPC110 or CIS105) and HIM180] or permission of Program Director. Prerequisites or Corequisites: HIM208 or permission of Program Director.
