Intermediate Skills for Clinical Externship

Catalog description

Continuing to expand the skills of a clinical dental assisting extern in their second quarter of externship. Focuses on developing clinical efficiency, refining communication and professional collaboration, and enhancing chairside and infection control skills in a clinical dental setting. Ability to strengthen studentsÆ foundational skills is demonstrated. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in DAE260 or permission of Program Director. Corequisites: DAE140 or permission of Program Director.
