Introduction to Clinical Externship

Catalog description

Initial placement for students in their clinical externship experience. Provides students with faculty and clinic supervised, hands-on experience in a clinical dental setting as part of their first quarter of clinical externship. Enables the student to develop foundational knowledge and skills of the clinical requirements of a dental assistant. Prerequisites: A grade of C or better in DAE156 or permission of Program Director. Corequisites: DAE140 or permission of Program Director.
