In an increasingly interconnected world, the complex challenges of health and well-being require holistic and interdisciplinary approaches. The "Wicked One Health Problems" colloquium course enhances the academic and practical experience of undergraduate students in the One Health minor and certificate programs by addressing global health issues through an integrated perspective. This course aims to foster critical thinking, collaborative skills, and innovative problem-solving abilities among future professionals dedicated to One Health. The Colloquium includes in-depth examination of selected case studies (e.g., zoonotic diseases, environmental pollution, antimicrobial resistance, disasters, proposed legislation, etc) along with classroom workshops to develop problem-solving strategies and solutions with a focus on interpersonal communication and collaboration.
